Objectives

  • To review the progress made since 2001 in developing statistical systems.
  • To identify specific actions the international statistical community can take in the short, medium, and long term.
  • To recommend a set of actions and accountabilities with specific dates for implementation, taking into account, as possible, the incremental costs of actions.
