Roundtable Discussion on Strengthening Country Level Efforts to
Manage for Development Results through Strategic National Action
Planning Processes (SNAPPs) |

- This plenary session will provide an opportunity to bring
together the findings and recommendations from the country level
action planning exercise and development partner discussions on ways
to support
countries in their efforts to strengthen their ‘systems’ for
managing for results. Rapporteurs from the regional discussions of
country planning exercises will identify common priority ‘next
steps’ from country level discussions, and rapporteurs from
the development partner discussions will identify priority steps
that development
partners should take to assist countries in these efforts.
- The discussion will focus on identifying the issues, next
steps and resources ultimately required to move the agenda forward
at the country level.

Roundtable Closing: The Road to Ghana

- This session will provide an opportunity for senior leadership
from the Governments of Vietnam and Ghana, as well as several of the
sponsoring agencies, to provide closing thoughts on the Roundtable.
In particular they will seek to identify key milestones that countries
and the development partners should aim to accomplish 6, 12 and 18
months in advance of the Ghana High Level Forum on aid effectiveness.
